White Eagle is an enthusiastic group of fencers meeting in Bristol. Competitive fencing is on an electric piste and kit can be provided if necessary. The White Eagle group had its origins in the former Ognisko Fencing Club; Proud of the traditions of excellence and achievement of Ognisko in representing Bristol's Polish community, the White Eagle group members are of diverse origins, various ages and both genders and new recruits are welcome from whatever background.
The group meets Wed. 7.00-9.30pm at BGS Sports Centre, Elmdale Road, Bristol BS8 1SR. Group and individual tuition is available for beginners and experienced fencers.

Hi, I was an original member of Ognisko under Stanislaw rzeckowski and won a few competitions with floret and can remember leo and Jan and Liz and a few others. I would love to see if I am at all still able to fence and it's lovely to hear that some people still remember the team from the Polish club. My number is 07739845162, could you call me please, maybe you remember me. My name is Julian Pirog ( Julek)

I'm looking to start learning and have just moved to Bristol. Just wondered if there was a cost for lessons, and it may be a dumb question, but I just want to check that non-polish folks are welcomed?

Regards
